These are the steps to prepare for your learning experience:
I) Enrollment: You have to enroll through the University Without Walls system. You’ll find more information on how to enroll here.
II) BlackBoard: After you enroll in Math 132, you may use your UMass assigned credentials (username and password) to login to the online learning management system, BlackBoard Learn. You should be able to see the course under “My Courses” on BlackBoard Learn’s home page. To access this course on Blackboard you will need access to the Internet and a supported Web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari). To ensure that you are using a supported browser and have the required plug-ins please run the Check Browser from your Blackboard course.
III) WebAssign: You will need to purchase a WebAssign access code. The various options are explained under the Textbook section. In order to enroll in the correct class, you will need the Access key you’ll find on BlackBoard (on the left-side main menu, click on the ‘WebAssign’ tab and you should be able to see the class key). You can set up your WebAssign account here. Please use your UMass email to enroll and provide your UMass ID in the relevant field, in order to expedite grade processing.
