While Yasu worked hard to present work on the PMf in his talk, Kathryn made sure to represent a different side of the Morita Lab by presenting her working on a novel protein involved in glycolipid synthesis, Spe2.

Yasu was selected to give a talk titled “Subcellular localization of membrane-domain-associated glycosyltransferases in response to stress conditions in mycobacteria” at the FASEB Microbial Glycobiology Meeting 2016 in West Palm Beach Florida.

Jen and Ju presented their posters “Dynamic, growth-associated membrane domain in mycobacteria” and “Membrane domain associated maturation of menaquinone in mycobacteria”, respectively, at the 22nd annual Boston Bacterial Meeting held at MIT.
