Lecture for Tuesday Feb 26 — IN HOLDSWORTH 301!!!

Hi class,

Assuming I don’t suffer a relapse tonight, Class will be tomorrow in Holdsworth 301.  We’ll discuss where it will be in the future.

I will be doing some demos of how to do both unsupervised and supervised classification in ArcMap, so things may not go smoothly.  I’m still working out the kinks for Wednesday’s lab.  I’ll post it soon.

Materials for the week of Feb 18th

Hi class,

Here are PDFs of the lab and lecture for this week.  For the lab, you need to use the 9-band Aster image of Amherst in the UMassAster05112055 folder:

Remember that we will NOT be meeting on Tuesday, and will meet on Wednesday in Hasbrouck Room 230, and on Thursday in Hasbrouck Room 242.

We are going to start Wednesday by doing the NDVI lab.  We then might have to do the Principal Components lecture first, and then the lab.  I’ll see how it goes.
