New NSF Grant!

Our NSF Proposal “Cloaking Anisotropic Capillary Interactions Through Tunable Nanoscale Surface Topography” has been funded by the NSF Nanoscale Interactions Program. We’re excited to continue working towards developing novel 2D materials using colloids with engineered shape & surface topography! More information about the award can be found here.

Paper published in Membranes!

Oscar figured out how we can calculate membrane bending rigidity from capacitance measurements on free-standing phospholipid bilayers, and how asymmetric calcium concentration impacts the rigidity of zwitterionic and anionic membranes. Congratulations! (link)
