3B50.40-Moire pattern

Description: These overheads can be used to illustrate Moire Patterns. Various shapes are available.

Equipment:

• Folder of Moire Patterns
• Overhead Projector

Demonstration Procedure:

1. Turn on the overhead projector and turn off the room lights.
2. Place the think version of a pattern on the overhead and note the shape.
3. Place the same shape on top of the first. Move it around and note the different patterns.
4. Repeat with the other shapes.
