1D40.71 – Awkward Rollers
Video: Watch this demo
Description: The diameter of the circular wheel is equal to the radii of the three arcs that make up the awkwardly-shaped wheel,
thus the distance from the ground to the board is always a constant on both wheels, and it rolls along just fine.
Equipment:
- Long board
- Circular wheel
- Awkwardly-shaped wheel
Setup Procedure:
- Make sure the wheels are firmly attached to the axles and the awkwardly-shaped wheel has both wheels aligned to the same orientation (points going in same directions).
Demonstration Procedure:
- Place board on top of one circular wheel and one awkwardly-shaped wheel, and roll it over the top of them!
