The EXO-200 experiment close to completion at the WIPP site (ca. 2009)

I am an experimental nuclear and particle physicist who interrogates the fundamental symmetries of nature through the study of neutrino properties and the investigation of the nature of dark matter. For the past two decades I have specialized in the design and operation of some of the most sensitive particle detectors for rare events. I have also developed a refined expertise of radon backgrounds and developed novel methods for their mitigation. I have been with UMass since 2009.
