Today, on day 3 of the conference in Galway, we began to dig into the details of the right to community living for individuals with disabilities under the CRPD. I was very intrigued to hear from the speakers from around the world on this topic, as we covered it in our class during the spring semester. Hermeneutic Injustice

Therapeutic Horseback Riding
The other day we visited the Hollywood Horse Trekking Centre in the Wicklow mountains to enjoy a horse trek through the beautiful mountain scenery and to learn about their services for riders with disabilities. Therapeutic horseback riding is a well known service in the United States, at least within my community. It is a service I have typically thought of as benefitting children with autism mostly. Accessibility in Dublin City
Exploring the city of Dublin over the past week has been an amazing experience and I have been able to make note of many differences between Dublin and Boston besides the obvious (driving on the opposite side of the road).
