Get Involved
How can people contribute to this effort? There are many ways to get involved, depending on your interests and circumstances!
Are you interested in documenting Black and Indigenous history in the Valley? Do you know of archival resources–town records, church records, family papers, local history collections or other materials–that help preserve and interpret this history in your community? Would you like information about volunteering with an existing team of researchers in one of the already-participating communities? Would you like to volunteer as a transcriber, or doing data entry? We welcome your involvement!
