Question Everything is a summer philosophy program for rising seniors from Springfield and Holyoke, MA. The theme of the program is Freedom and Liberty. Students who attend will learn more about philosophy and develop critical thinking skills as well as college-level reading and writing skills. Question Everything is taught by UMass professors. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive 3 college credits.

The 2025 session runs from July 13th to August 2nd.

Costs:

Tuition, room and board are free to all students who attend!

College Support:

We offer college preparation and application assistance to the students over the summer, as well as beyond the program into their senior year.

Transportation and Commuting:

We’ll provide transportation from a central location in Springfield/Holyoke to bring students to campus at the start of the program. At the end of the program, we’ll also provide transportation back to that location.

Question Everything is a residential summer program. Students are permitted to go home on weekends during the program; they can leave after 4 pm on Fridays and return by that Sunday night. However, they are strongly encouraged to stay: students will still be supervised and there are fun weekend social events!

Supervision and After-hours:

Students stay in the UMass dorms. There will be RAs in the dorms supervising the students and maintaining curfew at night.

Question Everything is part of University Without Walls (UWW) along with many other UMASS summer programs. There are students from all over the world participating in these programs! UWW offers after-hours social and college programming, which provides opportunities for our students to interact with the students from these other programs.
