Considering the Ice Stupa

The ice stupa has recently emerged as Ladakh’s newest engineered water cache. It is a stunning example of climate change adaptation, and worth considering in a variety of contexts and applications. As an emerging design strategy, it also needs to be probed, tested and evaluated. This research is underway, and I will share slides that show images from fieldwork in India.
