Welcome to our research group’s digital hub! Diving into the fascinating realm of renewable resources, particularly nano cellulose (CNC) chemistry, is at the core of our research. This includes work on heterocatalysis with nano cellulose or modification of surfaces to prevent fogging. Another area of interest has been the functionalization of CNC through click chemistry and emulsions to improve CNCs given its challenges of insolubility and poor dispersibility. We also design and study sustainable aerogels that enable CO2 capture. Our team brings together expertise in synthetic polymer chemistry, device fabrication and materials characterization.
