I had the pleasure to present the latest physics highlights from the ATLAS experiment at the EPS-HEP conference held from July 26 to July 30, 2021. A total of 26 new results was released for this conference, including the first observation of WWW production and numerous new results in Standard Model, Top, Higgs, and Heavy Ion measurements, as well as searches at the energy frontier and coupling frontier. The talk is available at this link.

ATLAS Physics Coordinator
In February 2019, I was fortunate to be elected by the ATLAS Collaboration Board to become the Deputy Physics Coordinator for the ATLAS experiment from 1 Oct 2019 to 31 Sep 2020, then Physics Coordinator from 1 Oct 2020 to 31 Sep 2021.

American Physical Society Fellow
I am fortunate to have been named Fellow of the American Physical Society, see

Graduate student Emily Thompson and Professor Stéphane Willocq performed the first search for contact interactions at the LHC in the dimuon channel using data collected with the ATLAS detector during the 2010 pp collision run. The results of this search have been published in the July 1st edition of Physical Review D Rapid Communications: Phys. Rev. D 84, 011101 (2011), arXiv:1104.4398 [hep-ex]. The limits placed on the compositeness scale Lambda are the most stringent to date.
Emily Thompson earned her PhD in June 2011 and is currently working as a postdoctoral research associate for Columbia University. She continues to work on ATLAS at CERN, focusing on boosted top quarks.
