Research: My dissertation  investigates the construction of state-sponsored housing between 1940 and 1986 in Northeast Brazil. In light of the post-1930 urbanization efforts, my research discusses ideas of modernization and politics presenting the relation between the United States and Brazil, developmental regional differences, and the transnational character of mass housing in Latin America.
