Student Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the ACCELA Program, the applicant must:

1. Have a Bachelor’s degree;
2. Have an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75 (those with GPAs less than 2.75 may be considered if there is evidence of ability to succeed with graduate level work and inquiry-based projects);
3. Be currently working as a classroom teacher in the Springfield or Holyoke Public Schools; and
4. Show evidence of successful teaching and a commitment to equity in education for linguistically and culturally diverse students
