Join us for an inspiring documentary by local filmmaker Dylan Landry. Facing a Slumlord shines a light on systemic failures and the victories section 8 housing tenants in Hartford achieved during their crusade against a local landlord, a fight they took from local and state government to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Following the documentary, join us in a discussion facilitated by Felicia Lundquist of Think Again Training and Consulting. We hope attendees will leave inspired and ready to spark other local conversations about people power and racial inequity in housing within their own networks.
