General description of what an intern might do:

Support design of instructional materials and observe multi-disciplinary consultations for students with complex developmental and/or medical needs in the STAR or PreK program. If interested in community resources and wrap around with other human services agencies, can be directly supervised by the Special Education Director to develop partnerships with Hatfield Public Schools and community organizations. If interested in supporting the partnership between Hatfield Public Schools and MassRehab for student transitions and vocational training, there is an opportunity for that at Smith academy as well.
