About your organization:
Two year (24 month) post secondary program for young adults with developmental disabilities learning how to live independently and maintain competitive employment while having the chance to be a college student! All students graduate with a certificate of completion and participate in an internship at a local area business their 2nd year.

Albany has a large public bus line for the Capitol Region. Also located off of the NYS Thruway, and about a 15 minute drive from an Amtrak station.
General description of what an intern might do:
Teach life skill functional academic based classes in a classroom setting, classes could include but not limited to: Fiance/budgeting, cooking, travel navigation, menu planning, residential workshop, soft skill employment skills, social skills, planning and facilitating community based outings
