3.1 Learning Activity: Constructing a VR Lesson Plan
This final module is the culmination of everything you’ve learned so far. Using the evaluative skills gained in the second module, find a VR app that you think would be a good fit for use in your classroom. Then, construct a lesson plan featuring that app. If you need some inspiration, check out this database of Google Expedition lesson plans. Directions:
- Find and explore a new VR app (not one of the five covered in the previous section).
- Evaluate this app and decide whether or not it suits your classroom needs.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you find a good fit for your classroom.
- Brainstorm 3 different curriculum standards or learning objectives that you could meet using your VR app.
- Create a lesson plan (using the lesson plan template) that incorporates one of these apps.
- Share your lesson plan on Twitter using the hashtags #ARVR3D and #ARVRinEDU.
