This week, we’re reading Schell et al. (2020), The ecological and evolutionary consequences of systemic racism in urban environments.

We’ll be using Perusall to collaboratively annotate the article before class. In small groups during class, we’ll discuss:

• Major themes from the paper and browse the comments on Perusall.
• What can/should our campus spaces (e.g. labs, departments) do to address the issues the paper raises?
