Project Summary:

We design and study tissue phantom materials to understand mechanisms behind traumatic brain injury and to develop biologically inspired energy dampening materials to improve the performance of protective equipment. We also study the impact of augmented vision systems and fatigue on human performance and develop high performance broadband microwave absorbing materials.
