Area Social Hours
When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays – 4.30-7pm Where: The Lounge in the Integrative Learning Center
The Social Hours (which will be happening most Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons 4:30-7pm) will be an opportunity for students and faculty working in various research areas to meet in an informal setting, mingle, and get to know one another. Each social area meeting will have access to a cash bar and some complimentary hors d’oeuvres, which will be served in the ILC lounge (an open area on the ground floor of our building). Each time slot will host two ‘areas’ in parallel, and there are two zones in the Lounge so each group can occupy a different zone. If anyone wishes to mingle with both groups, they are welcome to move back and forth. If the weather is nice some groups might decide to mingle outdoors on the lawn, and that is fine too ???? (but please do NOT take alcoholic drinks outside!!)
