Our collaborator’s work on peptidoglycan precursor synthesis was officially published in eLife. This paper uses cutting-edge technologies to detect peptidoglycan precursors in vivo and in vitro, and demonstrates the sidewall peptidoglycan synthesis in response to cell wall damage. Big congratulations to Sloan and the Siegrist Lab!!
