In the Neuroscience of Language and Aphasia Lab, our goal is to learn more about how the mind and brain support the ability to produce and understand language, and to use this knowledge to improve outcomes for people with acquired language impairments (aphasia).  Our lab is directed by Jennifer Mack, PhD, and is part of the Department of Communication Disorders and the Neuroscience and Behavior Graduate Programs at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
