Northampton Saturdays and Super Tuesdays (plus a bonus tip for Thursdays!)
As the weather continues to play some tricks on us all, spring one day and winter the next, it’s good to have some indoor places to visit throughout the week and weekends!
This Saturday, the Northampton Record Fair is happening for the second time this year! Stop by Union Bank Station from 9am-5pm and search 50 tables of records and CDs! There is free parking available, but the fair is also accessible by the PVTA buses. If you’re an early bird looking for some steals it costs $5 to enter between 9am-11am, but if you’re looking for a casual afternoon activity it’s free from 11am-5pm. So if you’re looking to score some great deals on vinyl and CDs, stop by the Northampton Record Fair this Saturday afternoon from 11am-5pm (or 9am for those morning people!).
Also coming up this week is Super Tuesday! You can join MASSPIRG and other RSOs this Tuesday March 1st at 8pm in Campus Center Room 168C and view the results of the primaries all across the country! the event is free for all students and there will be free food provided. This election is incredibly important, so I also urge everyone who is registered to vote this Tuesday in the primary!
An extra bonus tip: if you’re looking for something fun to do off campus on Thursday nights try out Northampton’s Spare Time Bowling! From 9pm-12am every Thursday they have a great deal: for $13 it’s all you can bowl, with shoes included, and all you can eat pizza included! So if you and your friends are looking to try something new on Thursday nights try bowling for a change of scenery!
