Congratulations on reaching the end of Week 1!
We hope that throughout this week you learned what a PLN is and how it can be a valuable resource for you.
Looking back on this week:
- With help from Torrey and Dr. Krutka, we defined Professional Learning Networks (PLNs) and explored their purpose.
- With help from Dr. Trust, we determined the potential social, cognitive, affective and identity benefits of a PLN for educators and for ourselves.
- We identified our existing PLNs and the ways in which we use them.
As you go on to Week 2, the activities from this week will help you begin to think about the next steps for where you are going with your PLN. But, before you head to week 2, there is one more activity!
