Business Intelligence Advisors will be holding an information session on Thursday, April 7th at 5pm in the 5th floor lounge of Goodell. They are looking for NON-business majors – perfect for SBS students.

Business Intelligence Advisors, Inc. (“BIA”) is an independent investment research firm serving institutional investors and hedge funds. BIA uses a proprietary behavioral assessment methodology to systematically analyze the language used in company disclosures and alert investors when management teams are conveying incomplete and unreliable information.

BIA is seeking qualified candidates who are interested in providing qualitative analysis and insights to help clients make investment decisions. The new hire will work closely with Senior Analysts and Research Managers to conduct intensive analysis of verbal corporate disclosures and deliver written reports to clients. Analysts will gain valuable research and analytical experience and will become well versed in business strategy, performance metrics and terminology. Candidates will also gain broad exposure to the buy side investment audience and financial markets. BIA is an entrepreneurial company. Seniors:  Thinking about going into business? Want to make an impact? Venture for America’s final deadline is Feb. 1.

Venture for America is a fellowship program for recent grads who want to learn how to build a business while making an impact. VFA Fellows get training and join a startup in an emerging US city, where they live and work for two years at one of our hundreds of partner companies. They learn hands-on what it takes to build a company, while getting the mentorship, network, and ongoing support to prepare themselves to become successful entrepreneurs.
