In 2019, SCiL will again be held as a sister society meeting with the Linguistic Society of America’s annual meeting, this time in New York City, from January 3-6, 2019.

The invited speakers will be Gaja Jarosz, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Mark Johnson, Macquarie University, who will both be speaking on the theme of “Learning Hidden Linguistic Structure”.

We will be seeking submissions of high-quality research on computational and mathematical approaches in any area of linguistics. The submission deadline is August 1, 2018. See the Call for Papers.
