Dasha Agoulnik

Dasha Agoulnik is a sophomore biology student. With a busy schedule she still had time to volunteer for UCAN! She heard of the network at the fall club fair and applied soon after that! She was able to help out with many one-time events that take place during the weekends. She says she loved having the variety of opportunities to could choose to participate in. She also liked the fact that she could really pick times that worked best with her schedule.

Dasha explained “We often get so caught up in our own minds and life, it’s almost relaxing to step away from our own reality to appreciate and understand someone else’s experiences. Volunteering is a learning opportunity; I value the lessons which is why I keep coming back for more!”

When asked what her favorite part of being apart of the UCAN network she explained that she loved being notified about volunteer opportunities, instead of searching for them herself.
