This Friday we hosted the second annual, 3-minute speaking competition STEM Slam. It was a blast! 13 speakers covered a wide variety of STEM topics using only props that they can bring with them on the stage (no slides) and the audience was also able to participate by voting for their favorite speaker and answering trivia questions to win small prizes. The information about the speakers can be found below:
The audience choice award went to Ryan while Atreyi won the second place and Cansu won the first place! Although we must note it was a close call, all of the participants were only apart by a couple of points since they all did very well. Some photos from the event can be found below:
