Want to learn more about food justice, alternative economies, and sustainable practices? Need something to do over spring break?? Consider UMass Amherst’s Alternative Spring Break! Students will volunteer with local organizations that are challenging the industrial food system! It is a great opportunity to get involved in the Amherst area and connect with fellow UMass students who are concerned about how our food is currently produced, exchanged, and consumed.
