I use this lab when teaching about physical and chemical properties. The students enjoy seeing the list of teachers’ names which have been changed to protect the innocent.
Still use this lab! I think it is great to show students the different properties of substances; students loves seeing the different results. The one thing that gets me every time is the suspect page where students try and guess who each suspect is. I don’t really know if there is really a better, more engaging lab to introduce this topic with!
