Trapped in Antarctica with no hope of rescue, the great British explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton kept 27 men alive for two years in the most inhospitable climate on earth. Ninety-five years later in the worst economic meltdown since the Great Depression, Hartford insurance man Walter Spivey relives Shackleton’s story, struggling to justify his recent promotion and save his employees’ jobs. Can one of the greatest leaders in human history inspire him to conquer the corporate world? “…Wowing audiences with humor, innovation, and high-energy performances!” nytheater.com

Audience members are invited to stay for a post-performance talk with the company immediately following the performance.

  1. The play was extremely well done, engaging and entertaining! Captured the imaginations of old (us) and young (middle schoolers).

  2. Thank-you Fine Arts Center for bringing Split Knuckle Theater’s Endurance to us! We LOVED it! The acting was SUPERB! The team of actors were SO talented, we felt transported to wherever the scene was. We were struck by the incredible amount of physical energy and sheer “gymnastics” and ENDURANCE by each of the actors.

  3. Split Knuckle Theater’s production was terrific. My wife and I had no idea what to expect when we included this show in our season ticket package. It exceeeded all expectations.

  4. This was great! Innovative, physical and physically pleasing, thought-provoking, very well done. It was amazing to find the two stories meshing so well, and at such an appropriate rate. We look forward to more from this production group.
