The music of Cape Verde draws upon the islands’ pungent blend of trade route cultures. As a young singer carrying on this unique musical tradition, Lura brings a streetwise, urban sensuality to her sound that embraces French afro-pop, Brazilian rhythms, and earthy, traditional music.
