Flipped classrooms are an excellent use of technology to meet the needs of every student. I have not encountered many professors or teachers using this type of instruction, despite resources being available, which is a shame. It always seems to me like we have amazing teaching tools at our disposal, but we don’t implement them well.
Thanks for your post Emily. I think teachers matter more in a “flipped†environment than in a “traditional†one. For some teachers, making the change from traditional lecture to flipped might seem to be more of a journey. Nevertheless, moving toward better learning and teaching experiences should probably not be thought of as anything short of a journey!
