The next open session of the National Advisory Council for Nursing Research (NACNR) will take place on September 15, 2020 from 11.30am to 1:30pm ET via Videocast.
The NACNR meets three times a year to provide recommendations on the direction and support of the nursing, biomedical, social, and behavioral research that forms the evidence base for nursing practice: http://www.ninr.nih.gov/AboutNINR/NACNR.
Presented by the Berkshire Area Health Education Center, healthcare professionals and others will be able to incorporate the tools and practices in this program to understand sleep’s important role in good physical and mental health and to identify ways to improve and sleep quality and quantity. Raeann LeBlanc, PhD, DNP, is the Seedworks Endowed Clinical Assistant Professor for Social Justice in the College of Nursing, UMass/Amherst. In this role, Raeann works with nursing students and community members to advance the nursing value and impact of social justice and health equity in the Commonwealth and beyond.
Christine Schrauf, PhD, RN, MBA is an active member of the American Nurses Association-Massachusetts Health Policy Committee and actively participates in state legislative advocacy. Christine is also an adjunct faculty member at Elms College in Chicopee, MA where she teaches health policy and ethics to graduate nursing students.
