Hi everyone! This is my 9th semester as an MPH-N student and I’m excited to embark on my summer practicum that started today. I will be working at my hospital’s outpatient oncology clinic. I will be working alongside the registered dietitian conducting literature reviews on various topics, designing patient diet education pamphlets, writing nutritional newsletters, and updating/writing policies and procedures for the clinic. I work in 2 oncology units as a full time dietitian for the past 6 years therefore I look forward to digging deeper into evidence based literature to help educate our patients better.
