Epilog Training
The Fablab maintains an Epilog Fusion M2 40 Laser Cutter. The laser cutter should be thought of as a plotter. It cuts two ways: Vector or Raster cutting. Vector based cutting follows lines, circles, etc. Raster based cutting is used with digital images.

Preparing to Cut
- Create a compatible file — Prep your files in Rhino or Autocad using cut, score, and perforate layers. Separate layers so that the laser cutter will cut out interior curves first and an exterior outline last.
- Configure your file using Adobe Illustrator
- Check recommendations for Laser Cutter Speed and Power Settings
