8. What do I do if I miss lecture?

You can catch up on the material you missed in lecture a number of ways:

  • The easiest thing to do would be to ask a classmate if you can see and take a picture of their lecture notes. Then you can use that to create your own set of notes in your notebook. You can also do this with your classroom TA – they might have a copy of the lecture notes.
  • You can find that section of the textbook and read up on the topics covered in the lecture.
  • You can stop in to the Precalculus Tutoring Center and see if one of the TAs has the lecture notes. Not all TAs will be the TA for your particular class but they might be able to help.
  • If your instructor posts lecture videos (or Echo360 lecture videos), you can use those to catch up on material.

If you know you will be absent for an extended period of time, you should contact your instructor.
