What did you do as an intern at this organization?

I was responsible for creating content and publishing posts for the start up company’s social media channels. I also developed creative content for blog posts and graphics.

What did you enjoy most about your internship?

I enjoyed being able to use my creativity.

What did you find challenging about your internship?

The company is based in science, which is certainly not my area of expertise, so it was often difficult to create relevant content when I didn’t understand concepts myself.

What skills did you develop through this internship?

I learned professional skills such as communication with coworkers and people who are higher up.

What advice would you offer to someone who is considering this internship?

If you’re working in a start-up like this company was, don’t be afraid to go with the flow and be prepared to deal with priority changes.
